John Pisani has been in the profession of journalism since 1984. He started as a TV producer/journalist in Toronto, Canada on a community station.

He moved to Malta in 1985 and started working as a news cameraman with TVM until 1994 when he joined One Productions as a journalist/cameraman/producer for One News.

In 1996 he started working as an investigative journalist for Union Press until February 2014.
