A boat caught fire in Marskala in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Shortly after 3am, Civil Protection Department firefighters responded to reports of a boat which caught fire on land close to St Thomas Bay.

The blaze was safely extinguished (Photo: CPD/Facebook)

The blaze was safely extinguished and no injuries were reported.

The police also assisted the CPD during the operation.
