Hunting and Conservation Exhibition at European Parliament

An exhibition entitled Hunting & Conservation in Europe: people and nature is set to open at the European Parliament from 4 – 8 October. The exhibition will bring together displays from different European countries that communicate the link between hunting and conservation.

The exhibition is set to include interactive elements such as a recreated forest habitat within the Parliament as well as film screenings of people and nature within the hunting and conservation themes.

The aim of the exhibition is to inform visitors of the symbiosis that exists between hunters and nature with concrete examples. Hunters are keen to contribute to dialogue on biodiversity ahead of the Convention on Biological Diversity COP-10 Meeting in Nagoya, Japan later this month.

The exhibition was put on by Sustainable Hunting Intergroup president , MEP Veronique Mathieu, the Federation of Associations for Hunting and Conservation of the EU (FACE) and the Royal Saint-Hubert Club de Belgique (RSHCB).
