Kusksu
Ingredients
- Onion
- Salt and pepper
- Water
- Carrot
- 2 potatoes
- Broad Beans, peeled
- Tomato purée (kunserva
- Kusksu
- Fresh gbejniet
Method
- Fry the onion with some salt and pepper.
- Add in the water and allow to boil.
- Add carrot, potatoes and broad beans.
- When the vegetables are tender, add the tomato paste and kusksu and allow to cook until tender.
- Add the fresh gbejniet at the end and serve with fresh Maltese bread.
