Kusksu

Ingredients

  • Onion
  • Salt and pepper
  • Water
  • Carrot
  • 2 potatoes
  • Broad Beans, peeled
  • Tomato purée (kunserva
  • Kusksu
  • Fresh gbejniet

Method

  1. Fry the onion with some salt and pepper.
  2. Add in the water and allow to boil.
  3. Add carrot, potatoes and broad beans.
  4. When the vegetables are tender, add the tomato paste and kusksu and allow to cook until tender.
  5. Add the fresh gbejniet at the end and serve with fresh Maltese bread.
