Moules Mariniere

Bring a taste of France to your table with this quick and classic French recipe. Bon Appétit!


  • 1 onion
  • 1tbsp butter  
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Parsley
  • 100ml white wine  
  • 50ml cream
  • Salt to taste
  • 1kg cleaned mussels


  1. Chop the onion into cubes and crush a clove of garlic.
  2. Sweat them in the butter.
  3. Chop the parsley stem and add to the pan.
  4. Add cleaned mussels to the pot.
  5. Add the wine to the pot and cover with the lid. Cook for around 4 minutes.
  6. Add the cream and half the chopped parsley leaves.
  7. Taste for seasoning.
  8. Place the mussels in bowls, pour the sauce in and add the rest of the parsley.
