Gearing up for the summer | Sirens Waterpolo Club

The Sirens Waterpolo Club in St Paul’s Bay has recently fallen under the care of Sandro Bianchi, proprietor of Fiorino d’Oro in Salina.

Following a much needed refurbishment the waterpolo club is now open serving all types of food from simple snacks such as ftira and baugettes ideal if you’re spending the day at the lido, to a quick plate of pasta if you’re in the mood for something a bit more substantial and an al la carte menu offering starters, meat and fish dishes for proper meal out. By the end of the month the menu is also set to include pizzas.

With chefs having been trained at the renowned Fiorino d’Oro, high food standards using the freshest local ingredients coupled with the fantastic location including views of St Paul’s island, the restaurant is sure to be a screaming success.

At the end of the month the rooftop area will be transformed into a Moroccan themed wine bar. Agadir is set to become the ideal meeting place for friends after a long day at the beach where one can enjoy cocktails, wine and a number of snacks and dips, while being gently caressed by the sea breeze.

Patrons can sit at tables by the bar, or relax on comfortable sofas in the VIP area, or can even dance the night away on the dancefloor.

Unlike past proprietors of the establishment, Bianchi intends to keep the restaurant open throughout the year. Plans to close in the outdoor dining area with glass panels, which can be removed in the summer, ensure a comfortable dining experience throughout the year.

Though the place has not yet been officially launched this expansion of Fiorino d’Oro is now open for business.

The Sirens Waterpolo Club is open seven days a week from 8am till late.

Firoino d’Oro in Salina is open for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday and for Sunday lunch.
