Lunch at D’Office

When walking along Archbishop Steet, D'Office is difficult to miss. The quaint old bicycle leaning against the facade is a welcoming sign bringing back memories of the good old days.

That feeling of nostalgia is made stronger when you walk into the bistro.

It's not simply about the atmosphere and the decor at D'Office. The food is equally impressive with dishes ranging from antipasti, to exciting salads that include exotic ingredients such as duck breast, pasta and main courses.

For the tourists that frequent the place in the summer and locals who miss the taste of grandma's cooking there are some traditional Maltese dishes including rabbit, bragioli and now that the season has begun, fresh lampuki.

The regular menu is further enhanced with daily specials that always include fresh fish and exciting dishes such as the pasta tartufo.

All these are complemented with a simple but varied wine list with both local and foreign wines at good value for money.

For the office worker working in Valletta, taking a break for lunch is vital, but not always possible between 13:00 and 14:00. D'Office is the perfect spot for grabbing something to eat on your own terms as they serve the full menu all day, so if you only realise you haven't eaten all day at 16:00, you can still head down there for a proper meal.

And best of all, when the phone rings you can still say I'm at D'Office.

D'Office is open daily 11:00 - 23:00
