Man hospitalised after accident in Paola

A man was hospitalised following a workplace accident in Paola.

The accident took place at 11:15am in Triq Giuseppe Garibaldi.

The victim was a 53-year-old man. He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment, where it was later certified he was suffering from serious injuries.

A police investigation is ongoing.
