Updated | Two drown off bay in Marsalforn as search for one of victims continues
A man and a teenager, believed to be French tourists, drowned off Xwejni Bay in Marsalforn this afternoon.

Two bathers, believed to be French tourists, drowned off Xwejni Bay in Marsalforn this afternoon.
In a statement, the Police said the incident happened at around 5pm.
Police investigations revealed the individuals in question were a 53-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl.
Three AFM search and rescue units were dispatched to the site where the body of the man was recovered.
Search is ongoing for the girl.
An inquiry has been ordered. Police investigations are ongoing.

Most of these so called pet lovers cannot clean up after their dogs on the pavements so why would I want them on the beaches

many more deaths will occur when pensioners and dog lovers take their loved ones to these forgotten, inaccessible so called beaches which could be death traps for them and their pets. It is absurd. Pet lovers have not received any concessions whatsoever, just lip service and nothing else.
