15-year-old girl dies in Dingli fall

A young man and a teenager girl reported missing, earlier today, were involved in a tragic accident at Dingli cliffs.

Lisa Maria Zahra, 15, and Erin Tanti, 23, reported missing by the police earlier today, were said to have fallen from the cliffs. The police have confirmed that the girl died, while Tanti had suffered serious injuries.

Tanti is a teacher of drama and an actor who was currently in performance for the play Festen.

The two were found injured at the foot of Dingli Cliffs this afternoon. Speaking to MaltaToday, a police spokesperson said foul play was being ruled out.

Tanti's conditions are not yet confirmed, but it is believed that he is in a critical condition. Friends of the actor posted messages of encouragement on his Facebook wall, wishing him a speedy recovery.
