Woman hospitalised after head-on collision

A 36-year-old woman was hospitalised after being involved in a head-on collision during the early hours of the morning.

The police said the incident occurred this morning at around 4am in Vjal ir-Rihan, San Gwann, when a Toyota Corsa driven by a 33-year-old man from Mosta crashed with in a Peugeot 306 driven by a 27-year-old man from Zejtun.

The police said that upon impact, the woman, who was in a passenger in the Toyota Corsa, was slightly injured.
