Family argument at hospital ward, man pulls out knife
Heated argument among family members at hospital ward; Police called in to hold man allegedly carrying ‘sharp instrument’

No one was injured when a heated argument broke out among family members at the Cardiac Medical Ward at Mater Dei Hospital.
Contacted by MaltaToday, the Police’s communications office confirmed that the incident took place at around 10am, between a father and his children.
The argument escalated and the man pulled out a sharp instrument, believed to be a knife.
“No one was injured in this family argument,” a police spokesperson said.
Initial reports of the man being arrested were denied. He was reportedly held briefly by the police until things calmed down.
