Man critical after falling off ladder

A man found himself in critical condition yesterday evening after falling off his ladder.

At about 9:30pm on Tuesday, police were informed that a 54-year-old man who had been admitted to hospital just two hours earlier had slipped into critical condition.

The man’s injuries were sustained by falling off a ladder while he was working on some pens in Sqaq Habel Zejra, in Naxxar.

Duty Magistrate Francesco Depasquale opened an inquiry into the case, hiring several experts to assist.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
