Motorcyclist grievously injured in Birkirkara collision

A motorcyclist was grievously injured yesterday evening in a traffic accident on Triq Ganu, Birkirkara. 

The victim, a 45-year-old woman from Rabat, was riding her Yamaha MT-07 motorcycle when she was involved in a collision with a car, a Toyota Aygo driven by a 29-year-old woman from Msida, at about 6:20pm. 

The victim was conveyed to Mater Dei hospital for treatment.

The other woman involved in the accident was unharmed. 

Police investigations are ongoing.
