A 12-year-old girl, named as Alashia Azzopardi, has died from injuries sustained in a traffic collision yesterday evening.

The accident took place on Triq it-Tlett Ibliet, Bormla, at about 9.15pm, and involved a Toyota Funcargo, driven by a 46-year-old man, resident of Isla, and an Isuzu Gemini, driven by a 20-year-old Senglea man.

Azzopardi was a passenger in the Isuzu Gemini, along with a 17-year-old woman, of Bormla, and a Senglea man of the same age.
