Decomposing body found at sea off St Julian’s

The decomposing body of a male has been found at sea roughly one mile off St Julian’s according to the police. It has not yet been identified.

The body was discovered at roughly 6.25pm and was brought to shore by the Armed Forces of Malta. It was taken to the AFM base at Hay Wharf.

The police confirmed that a magisterial inquiry is underway.

Last Friday a man went missing after jumping off a boat off Sliema and has not yet been found.
