Momentum has launched its campaign for the upcoming general election under the slogan Real Change (Bidla Ta’ Vera).

The party said that their platform is grounded on issues that matter most to ordinary Maltese families, such as the overdevelopment which has scarred Maltese communities, a cost of living that keeps rising, and a political culture where access matters more than accountability.

“This election, voters will hear plenty of slogans and catchphrases," they said. “They will be told they matter, they will be promised that something new is coming.”

“Malta has heard it all before.”

In a statement released on Tuesday, Momentum explained that Real Change is not a promise of a fresh coat of paint on the same old structure, but rather a reflection of a growing national demand for a Malta that is just, beautiful, and sustainable for present and future generations.

Momentum Chairperson Arnold Cassola insisted that Malta needs leaders who will act on corruption, overdevelopment, and the squeeze ordinary families face each month.

“This is what Real Change means,” Cassola said. “Not simply a change of tone. A change of direction.”

Momentum is fielding candidates across all districts in Malta for this election, with a platform which they described as standing for democratic reform, environmental sustainability, and economic fairness.
