Senator John McCain in Malta

McCain who is on his second visit to the island in two years, is accompanied by Senator Lindsey Graham, Senator Mark Kirk and Senator Marco Rubio.

A United States embassy spokesman explain that McCain and his delegation had talks with Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi, and expressed thanks for Malta's role in assisting the evacuation of hundreds of American citizens from Libya during the uprising last February.

McCain – a former us Presidential Candidate – was spotted touring the streets of Valletta this morning where he also visited St. John’s Co-Cathederal.
