Newcomer Ryan Callus to represent Opposition on MEPA board

The Nationalist Party's parliamentary group today decided that MP Censu Galea should be appointed deputy speaker, retaining the position he held in the previous legislature. The government had asked the opposition to appoint a deputy speaker from its side.

Newcomer Ryan Callus has been chosen to represent the opposition on the MEPA board while Gozitan MP Frederick Azzopardi will be deputy whip.

David Agius was retained as whip.
