Josè Herrera 'satisfied' with culture portfolio

Parliamentary Secretary Josè Herrera denies that he was after a more prestigious position in government in interview with Illum.

The parliamentary secretary for culture and local government Josè Herrera denied that he was not happy with the responsibilities given to him by Prime Minister Joseph Muscat.

Following the 9 March election, it was reported that Herrera was unhappy at the Prime Minister's decision to assign him a minor role in government. Just days after the election Herrera did not shake the Prime Minister's hand when he was swore in as parliamentary secretary

However, in an interview with Sunday newspaper Illum, Josè Herrera says that politicians should be prepared to exit their comfort zone and take on new challenges.
