Finnish tourist on danger list after three-storey fall in St Julian’s

A 36-year-old Finnish tourist is on the danger list after falling off three storeys off a parapet in St Georges’ Road, St Julian’s in the early hours of this morning.

The police were called on site at around 6am this morning since the man had been injured.

Initial police investigations on showed that while the tourist was on a parapet of an unnamed hotel in the same road, the man fell three storeys for some reason or another.

The tourist was not residing in the same hotel where the fall took place, the police added.

The tourist was taken to Mater Dei Hospital in an ambulance, where he was certified in with grievous injuries and in danger of losing his life.

On duty Magistrate Lawrence Quintano was informed about the case and opened a magisterial inquiry according to law.  He appointed various court experts to assist in the investigations on this fall.

The police said they were still investigating the case.
