A 59-year-old man from Nadur lost his life after falling into a reservoir in Nadur, Gozo.

The body of a man was discovered this morning in the area known as San Blas.

Members from the Department of the Civil Protection went on site to empty the reservoir and recover the man's body. The man was certified dead on site.

The police were informed of the matter at around 2:10pm.

Police investigations are still underway.
