MP 'confirms' he will vote against honoraria bill
Nationalist MP Jean Pierre Farrugia has confirmed that he insisted to be informed of the contents of each 'miscellaneous' financial vote in the House.

In a note sent to MaltaToday in response to a number of comments posted by readers of www.maltatoday.com.mt Jean-Pierre Farrugia stressed that: "I confirm that prior to the vote due last Tuesday I queried with my Whip, the Clerk of the House and Mr. Speaker to verify that Bill No 61 - Budget Measures Implementation Bill - (2nd Reading) did not include the MPs' honoraria increase. I requested to be advised accordingly in due course."
