Motorcyclist grievously injured in traffic accident

A traffic accident took place yesterday at around 18:50 in Triq Dun Gaetano Mannarino, Birkirkara, police were informed. 

Preliminary investigations show that a man, 35, driving a Yamaha T115, crashed into the pavement and some bollards. 

The man was taken to Mater Dei hospital where he was certified as grievously injured, police said. 

Police investigations are still ongoing.
