Media.Link Communications ordered by court to pay €55,789

Media.Link Communications, the Nationalist Party’s communications company which owns and publishes In-Nazzjon and il-mument newspapers, has been ordered by court to pay €55, 879.

Media.Link Communications had bought printing supplies for its newspapers from an Australian company, Roxcel Handelgesellscheft G.m.b.H, but it had failed to pay for its purchases.

The supplies included different types of reels, standard newsprint and related printing equipment.

The Australian company claimed it had sent several invoices as well as an official letter to Media.Link but the payment was never carried out. The company also submitted a note to the court in which it recognised the outstanding amount.

Judge Mark Chetcuti ordered Media.Link to pay the outstanding amount. The amount included interests and costs.
