Man seriously injured at construction site

A man was hospitalised earlier this morning after falling down a ladder in a construction site in Marsaskala, the police said.

The man, 46 years old and resident of Gudja, had been working at the construction site on Triq l-Isfar when he fell from a considerable height.

The incident took place at around 9am this morning.

District police went on site and an ambulance was called.

The police said that the worker was taken to Mater Dei hospital where he was certified as having sustained serious injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
