Tourists' lucky escape as coach skids on Regional Road almost falling 12 metres

The coach sustained extensive damages, but also risked falling down a 12 metre drop as it rested on the concrete debris that prevented it from careering further.

This morning's light rain made the road very slippery. The coach was carrying a group of tourists who were on their way to the airport.

Police closed off Regional Road for some time, while Transport Malta officials have ordered immediate repairs to the road.
