Romanian caught with 2kgs of cocaine
A 62 year-old Romanian man has been arrested after being caught attempting to import two kilogrammes of cocaine.

he man was arrested at Malta International Airport on Saturday evening as he arrived on a flight from Zurich.
A search conducted by Customs and the Police Drug Squad revealed two kilogrammes of cocaine that were hidden inside a false compartment of his luggage.
He was immediately arrested and taken to the police headquarters in Floriana for interrogation.
The man is expected to be arraigned on Monday.
A Magisterial inquiry is underway.
