Conclusion V75 Solvalla: Top class performance by Cash is Fun Zaz

A rainy racing day at Solvalla turned out to be a V75 meeting of new records and impressive performances.

V75-1:
2 Jodas Julia (Johnny Takter) took the lead almost straight away at the first V75-leg of the day at Solvalla. Pre-favorite, 9 Vanessa du Ling (Jorma Kontio), overtook the lead towards the end of the first lap and held on to it all the way, almost. With 30 meters to go at the homestretch, Jodas Julia, came back and sprinted past the wire to a victory.

V75-2:
The second V75-leg was something extraordinary. The commentaries could not believe their eyes and called the performance “the best they have ever seen”. Pre-favorite 12 Cash is Fun Zaz (Jorma Kontio) was post positioned all the way at the back and started off the race with a gallop. The horse came back and fought his way up, three-wide, passing the leader 10 Bruce Tooma (Torbjorn Naslund) at the home turn. Cash is Fun Zaz then crushed the opponents, won with several lengths down to the runner-up and set a new national record over long distance with a time at 1.14.5.

V75-3:
Third leg of the V75, Gold Division, were all about these three horse: 4 Michro Mesh(Daniel Olsson) , 5 Yanantin Boko (Jorma Kontio) and 9 Skully Gully (Erik Adielsson). Michro Mesh took the lead early on, Yanantin Boko got positioned first over and Skully Gully found a pocket behind the front row. At the home turn Skully Gully was up against Yanantin Boko towards the wire, but Jorma Kontio and his horse were the stronger duo and won the most prestigious race of the day. This was Yanantin Boko’s first time competing in the Gold Division.

V75-4:
V75’s first outsider presented himself in the fourth leg. 6 Nostro Value (Christer Lönn) grabbed the lead and held on to it until the home stretch. At the final 100 meters there were suddenly five horses involved towards the wire. 9 Wiss Rambo (Peter Untersteiner) came out as the strongest one and won with a small margin.

V75-5:
Lutfi Kolgjni’s apprentice and first man Christoffer Eriksson was assigned to race 14 Global Legacy at Solvalla. After battling of most of the pre-favorites a head-to-head challenge against 5 Olympia (Johan Untersteiner) remained. Global Legacy was the stronger horse and settled the win at a national record time for fillies, 1.13.7.
Winning odds: 21.02

V75-6:
In an over paced race there were many of contenders challenging each other for the victory. Driver Bo Falsig with 12 Practical Joke came out from last spot at the home turn and sprinted to a victory, a top class performance indeed. The commentary chose to use the phrase: “This is not a joke” to sum up the effort.
Winning odds: 34.75

V75-7:
After three outsider victories in a row the V75-value was sky-high. The concluding leg would also bring an outsider, this time with 11 Youpie (Per Lennartsson). 4 Hardy Ribb (Ulf Ohlsson) had the leading position for most part of the race, but could not manage to hold on to it at the home stretch and submerged the possibilities of a win.
