Man arrested on 3g cannabis find

The home affairs ministry has issued a statement saying the police are investigating a Somali national who was seen collecting a sock stuck on the barbed wire fence of the Lyster Detention Centre, that contained 3 grammes of cannabis.

The ministry said the sock was thrown from outside the detention centre and got stuck on the barbed wire. The Somali national was apprehended while collecting the sock.
