Tonio Borg appeals for international support to emerging democracies

Deputy Prime Minister Tonio Borg discussed the latest events in Tunisia prior to the start of last Friday's Vilnius Ministerial Meeting of the Community of Democracies with his Tunisian counterpart Mouldi Kefi.

Intervening during the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister referred to the recent events in North Africa and appealed for international support to the democratic process and to the peoples in these emerging democracies.
