Enemalta rolls back fuel prices to pre-budget rates

Enemalta announces roll back of fuel prices to pre-budget rates given the budget’s failure to pass through Parliament on Monday evening.

In a statement, Enemalta announced the following revisions in fuel prices, effective as from today (Tuesday 11 December 2012).

In its statement, Enemalta said that the modified retail prices were revised following Monday's budget vote.

"The €0.02 cents increase in Excise Duty announced in the 2013 Budget on the 28th of November has now been decreased," Enemalta confirmed.

"All products are inclusive of 18% VAT.  The above revised prices reflect the recommended price index, which is set at the maximum retail levels," it said, adding that "due to MOBC closure, TFO prices will not be published for the month of December."
