Saturday night crash victim has been named as Damian Micallef, 31 of Dingli.

Motorcycle enthusiast Damian Micallef, 31 of Dingli is the 14 th crash victim this year, and the fourth to die tragically while driving a motorcycle.

Micallef died on impact when his motorcycle crashed into the University tunnels, limits of Msida.

According to the police, Micallef lost control of his motorcylcle at 02:25 am and smashed into the concrete wall.

The driver was thrown off the motorcycle and landed many metres away, smashing his helmet.

A Magisterial inquiry is underway.
