Coast Road partially closed for resurfacing works

Areas of the coast road affected by the failure of sewage pipes will be reinstated over the coming days, Transport Malta said.

Transport Malta explained that the work will include part of one lane, the one which leads towards Pembroke, being closed to traffic as from today at noon in order to scarify the surface and lay three layers of asphalt.

Works are expected to be completed next Saturday, it added.  

“We ask drivers to drive carefully and to follow temporary signs and any instructions by officials, as disregarding these instructions will endanger the lives of workers on site,” Transport Malta said.
