PBS board of directors pass no confidence motion against John Bundy

The board of directors of the Public Broadcasting Services have written a letter to Chairman Tonio Portugese, saying they have unanimously approved a motion of no confidence in John Bundy as CEO of PBS.

During in an extraordinary meeting, the board alleged that Bundy has repeatedly ignored the Board of Directors and taken decisions without the board’s approval.

“The board of directors also notes that when it tried to change arbitrary decisions of the CEO, directors were faced with legal threats against them and the company,” they noted.

“In light of this, the board of directors feels it can no longer tolerate the situation and has therefore declared that it no longer find confidence in the works of the company’s CEO," the letter said.

The Chairman will be communicating the outcome to Justice Minister Owen Bonnici.
