Nium Padel 24-Hour Marathon, rallying support for The Children in Need Foundation

In a remarkable showcase of sportsmanship and solidarity, padel players, enthusiasts and kind-hearted people are gearing up for Malta’s first 24-hour padel marathon event to support The Children in Need Foundation. The event, scheduled to commence on Tuesday 30 April at 3:00 PM and culminate on Wednesday at 3:00 PM, is taking place at the Padel Malta courts in Pembroke, and promises to be a thrilling display of athleticism and compassion.

The Children in Need Foundation, renowned for its unwavering commitment to aiding in vulnerable situations, has spearheaded this initiative to further its mission of providing crucial support to any child in need. By organising this padel marathon with the support of Padel Malta, the foundation aims to not only raise awareness but also generate vital donations that will directly impact the lives of countless children. “Following last year’s running challenge, ‘1 Run, 1 Childhood’, we’re back with a different event, yet with the same aim of continuing to push our cause and provide support for any child who finds themselves in a difficult situation. The marathon will feature non-stop padel matches, for both skilled players and enthusiasts. We encourage those who have never played padel, to take this opportunity and come give this sport a try. Spectators and supporters are encouraged to join in the fun atmosphere, cheering on the players and contributing to the fundraising efforts. From the bouncy castle to the various food options available, this promises to be an enjoyable affair suitable for the entire family.

An exhibition match is lined up for Wednesday 1 May at 11:00hrs and this is surely not to be missed!
