Art Dubai opens in March

Art professionals and art enthusiasts now have a better chance to visit Art Dubai, the contemporary international art fair, through Emirates buy one get one free offer.

The offer is available to passengers travelling to Dubai in March. The sixth edition of Art Dubai takes place on 21-24 March 2012 at Madinat Jumeirah.

Art Dubai is to include a roster of 75 galleries from 32 countries, showing work by over 500 artists. The fair features major new names joining an existing base of galleries that have become synonymous with Art Dubai. Key galleries joining in 2012 include Arndt (Berlin), Rodolphe Janssen (Brussels), Lombard Freid Projects (New York), Galerie Mirchandani Steinruecke (Mumbai), The Pace Gallery (New York, London, Beijing), Galerie Perrotin (Paris) and Platform China (Beijing).

Art Dubai is part of Art Week, the umbrella initiative that includes Sikka Art Fair (15-25 March) and a range of contemporary art and design events, major museum shows, and new gallery exhibitions and artists' projects. More information about Art Dubai from www.artdubai.ae

Travellers from Malta purchasing an airfare to Dubai during 15 and 29 February 2012 can obtain a complimentary ticket to Dubai. The offer is for passengers flying to Dubai in first, business or economy class and the two passengers must travel together on the same itinerary.
