Updated | Three injured in traffic accidents

Two persons suffer grevious injuries in separate traffic accidents, one in Rabat and another in Mgarr.

A 28-year-old man from Rabat was grievously injured in a traffic accident in his hometown on Sunday morning.

The Police said the accident happened at around 5:30 am at Saqqajja Hill, when the man lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a wall as he was driving in the direction of Rabat.

In a second accident later in the day, a 55-year-old woman from Zejtun suffered grievous injures in a traffic accident at Triq l-Imgarr, Mgarr. The woman is in danger of dying.

The police said the woman who was a passenger on a motorbike was involved in an accident between the motorbike driven by a 59-year-old man from Zejtun and a car driven by a 31-year-old man from Swieqi.

In another accident, a 74-year-old man from Ta' Xbiex was run over by a 'King Long' vehicle, as reported by police, ostensibly referring to a bus which was being drivem by a Zabbar man, 52. The man is in danger of dying.
