Inmate found with illegal substances inside law courts

An inmate at the law courts was found to be carrying substances suspected to be illegal.

The inmate was to attend a court sitting when police noticed suspicious behaviour between the inmate and a 57-year-old woman, who resides in St Paul's Bay. Both individuals were searched, leading to the discovery of illegal substances on the inmate. No such substances were found in the woman's possession. 

The Duty Magistrate was informed about the case and appointed an inquiry.
