Baby left alone in car for one hour, police investigating

The police are investigating an incident of a toddler left unattended in a car in Marsa.

The child was discovered unattended in a Volkswagen Polo in Spencer Hill, Marsa. The police said that further investigations revealed the identity of the child's parents, and the father, a 27-year-old foreigner who lives in Malta, returned to the car shortly after the police arrived at around 10:30am.

In a statement, the police said anonymous information was received through emergency line 112.

Police investigations are ongoing.
