Two youths injured in crash, one in danger of dying

A 24-year-old youth from Paola is in danger of dying after being involved in a traffic accident during the early hours of this morning.

The incident occurred in December 13 Road in Marsa at about 1am, when a Toyota Aygo driven by a 20-year-old woman from Cospicua lost control and crashed into a tree.

The woman was slightly injured but her passenger, a 24-year-old man from Paola was critically injured and is in danger of dying.

The man was conveyed to Mater Dei Hospital where he is receiving treatment.

An inquiry is being held while police investigations are ongoing.
