Updated | Man seriously injured while manufacturing fireworks
The man, a Naxxar resident, was seriously injured in the incident.
A 45-year-old man has been hospitalised after sustaining injuries while manufacturing fireworks.
The incident took place this morning, at about 9.40 a.m., at a fireworks factory in the area known as Tal-Lombardi, Żejtun.
The man, who lives in Naxxar, was administered first aid on site by a medical team. He was then conveyed by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital.
His injuries have been reported to be of a serious nature.
Investigations are ongoing.
