The woman was taken to hospital where it was declared that she was suffering grievous injuries
At 10:40, an elderly woman, 70, was hit by a Fiat Doblo as the 23-year-old driver, a Dingli resident, was reversing.
The accident took place in St Bartholomew Street, Qormi.
