Man in intensive care after van pins him against wall

A 53-year-old man is intensive care suffering from grievous injuries after he got caught between the wall and the van.

The man, who was in a garage at his place of work in Mriehel, was trying to jump-start the van when it suddenly jolted, crashing him against the wall.

The incident happened in Triq il-Birrerija at around 5.30am. A family member drove him to hospital where he was certified to be suffering from grievous injuries and was transferred to intensive care.

The police were informed of the incident following a report made by the Occupational Health and Safety Authority.
