Construction worker seriously injured after fall

A construction worker was seriously injured at a building site.

The accident took place at around 8am in Handaq, near Qormi. 

Police said the Pakistani national had fallen from a height.

The victim was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment, where it was later certified he was suffering from serious injuries.

A police investigation is ongoing.
