"One should refrain from utilising trivial arguments filled with clichés and sensationalism," Nationalist MP Claudio Grech said.
Former EU commissioner John Dalli revealed that upon accepting the advisory role at Mater Dei Hospital he discovered that the administration of the hospital was in a very bad state of health.
"No proper accounts are kept at Mater Dei Hospital; there was no purchasing policy, not even a policy on how the operating theatres ought to be managed and no proper inventory system. Its as if the hospital is an open house."

The Former European Commissioner said that he has carried out a review of the current situation in Mater Dei Hospital which is now in the final stages. His main thesis is based on the health reform commenced in 2008 when he was the Minister responsible for Health.
Prime Minister Joseph Muscat described Dalli as "one of the best health ministers" Malta had had.
Nationalist MP and spokesperson for health Claudio Grech, said that one should refrain from usitilsing trivial arguments littered with cliches and sensationalism. "We have to work together so as to address those areas that pose the biggest challenges," Grech said.
