34-year-old Sudanese falls three storeys to his death in construction accident

As soon as the police arrived on site at St Michael Street in the same locality at around 12.05 pm, they found the victim lying on the ground inside a common area of a block of flats.

Initial police investigations showed that the victim was doing some construction works on the top floor of the block of flats when he fell three storeys to the bottom of the block.

Doctors certified him dead on the spot.

On duty Magistrate Audrey Demicoli appointed an inquiry as prescribed by law. She appointed various court experts to assist her in the investigations on this tragedy.

Police investigations on the case were still ongoing.
