Transport Malta to carry out maintenance work in Pieta' and Paola

Transport Malta will carry out maintenance work in Triq ix-Xatt Tal-Pieta’ on Sunday 4 and Monday 5 September 2016 between 8:00pm and 5:00am.

Transport Malta said that during these works, the road will be closed to traffic.

It advised drivers to seek alternative routes, proceed with caution and follow instructions by officials on site.

Similarly, Transport Malta will carry out maintenance work in Triq Diċembru 13 in the direction to Paola, tomorrow between 4:00am and 6:00pm. Works will continue on Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 September between 7:00pm and 6:00am, Transport Malta said.

During the works in Paola, traffic including public transport will reportedly be diverted onto the first slip way that proceeds to Marsa.

Furthermore, Transport Malta said that line markings will be painted on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 September but road will remain accessible to traffic.
