Labour party raises €600,000 in fund-raising marathon

The Labour Party has raised €605,893 during a fund-raising marathon organised on Sunday.

All throughout the day, Labour supporters were asked to donate to the party during an activity that was televised live on the party’s media, One.

The money raised through donations, as well as with contributors visiting the event at the Marsa complex.

The event came to an end at around midnight with Prime Minister and party leader Joseph Muscat expressing his appreciation for the party supporters for their contribution, and thanking the volunteers who for the las weeks were going door to door to collect donations.
