German woman injured in Xemxija

The 33-year-old woman fell down a skylight in her home

A German woman was seriously injured on Thursday morning after falling from a skylight in her home in Xemxija.

The accident happened around 9:30 am.

Civil Protection was called on site to assist the woman.

An ambulance was called on site and took the woman to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.

Police investigations are on-going.
